We are going to take a very brief look at the nations in the region, their current conflicts, and their modern history. More than any other part of the world the internal conflicts and natural resources of Southwest Asia affect the entire planet.
Objectives
Students will identify and describe the key vocabulary words and essential questions relating to Southwest Asia.

For the second part of this packet you will create a cultural profile. You will probably want to work with a partner on this.
