Description
For thousands of years, mankind has known that controlling certain key points of physical geography can benefit them. Sometimes they have been used in war. At other times they have been something as simple as where to locate the better pasture land for a farm.
In the case of choke points, large areas, sometimes even trade and travel between entire continents can center on a fairly small part of the Earth's surface.
In this lesson, we will some of the most common - and important choke points around the world.
