China is a large nation in terms of size and population. It also what is likely the most varied geography in the world. China has also impacted the world's history for thousands of years.
Objectives
In this packet we are going explore just a few of the outstanding geographical and demographic features of China. Specifically, we are going to explore the following questions.
What is the modern legacy of the Silk Road?
How do ideas travel?
What contributes to modern-day China's large influence around the world?
How does the health of people in China compare to other nations?
How does shipping and industry shape China today?
How does human-environment interaction affect the land and the people of China?
